Project – Responding to a Divinely Inspired Meditation ‘Download’ to Create an Innovative New Genre of Performance Support Coaching System

Aims – Creating the My Performance Coach performance support coaching system which directly impacts the inner game critical success factors and emotional performance processes, that ultimately govern personal results delivery, engagement and self-empowerment.

What was involved?

Creating a new paradigm and genre of learning technology and Performance Support Coaching Systems (PSCS) template, from a Divinely Inspired meditation, to then co-create a detailed functional specification and product definition and then lead the subsequent development of a product demonstrator called My Performance Coach

Leading the creative design, innovation and development processes and teams…

  • Winning the e-learning age ‘Most Innovative Application of Learning Technology’ Award and gaining international recognition at the 2007 E-learning Awards, with the My Performance Coach product and initial BT Wholesale ‘Proof of Concept’ case study.

  • Developing the Performance Support Coaching System (PSCS) lead product, My Performance Coach, including design and production of 50+hrs of high quality re-useable learning content, around key themes of Performance, Change, Well Being and Leadership.

  • Incorporating and further developing the Joseph Campbell ‘Hero’s Journey’ metaphor work, providing a repeatable learning journey for users, to add ‘lifetime value’ to the many benefits of using the My Performance Coach product.

  • Creating radically new experiential design methodologies and content design parameters, for intellectual and emotional shifts using computer systems, for greater employee engagement with business change agendas.

Content design of over 55hrs of interactive learning experiences, production & delivery                                    

  • Design and co-production of 20 interactive tools and techniques with original audio visual ‘how to use’ introductions,

  • Conducting video interviews to create 50 × 2-minute videos of inspiring & engaging video clips with internationally recognised experts, across the relevant MPC themes

  • Design of original scripting and co-production of 25 visualisations/mental rehearsals to support personal empowerment of users

  • Design of User instructional support provided by animations with voiceovers.

Leading the Multi-Company Collaborations for both Product Development and Content Contributors…

  • Leading product development with a UK and India project team of designers, graphic artists, software programmers, developers, multi-media providers, etc.

  • Running content development, technical and product strategy discussions with potential B2B collaboration partners, e.g. IBM, TATA, Higher Education Colleges, Hewlett Packard, etc.

  • Engaging high profile subject matter experts to be involved in video interviews and collaborations on new product developments, for their own customer bases, e.g. Lynne McTaggart, Dr Joe Dispenza, Richard Barratt, Sir John Whitmore, Rene Carayol, plus 30 other public figures and thought leaders…

Leading the branding and initial positioning of the My Performance Coach innovation…

  • Designing full branding, web site presence and marketing to educate and position My Performance Coach in the marketplace and enable client understanding of this new learning platform and paradigm shift technology solution

Opening up strategic collaboration & IP licensing discussions with market leading companies in different sectors…

  • Initiating and running commercial dialogues with international thought leaders and leading market partner companies to share IP and collaborate with new learning technology solutions and performance improvement enablers, e.g. IBM, Accenture, NHS Skills for Health, Penna, CSC, BP, QAIQ, Noble Manhattan, The Princes Trust, BAE Systems, TATA Interactive Systems, Shirlaws, Barratt Values Centre, Performance Consultants International and others.

Raising cash & grants to fund start up business operations…

  • Personally raising £1.25M of Angel Investor & Grant funding over a 5-year period

Pioneering radical eco-business models…

Creating radical eco-business models with shared ownership options (similar to John Lewis Partner share ownership arrangements), offered to content providers and subject matter expert contributors, to reinforce long-term, high-quality working relationships and communities of businesses, across normal trading boundaries.
